The original Hazmat TAC Lab was presented as a pre-conference workshop in 2019. As an update based on the changing hazmat response landscape Haztac Lab -2023 is designed to enhance strategic and tactical planning abilities of hazmat responders. This workshop is designed to be presented as a pre-conference or regular conference sessions and will use multimedia and old school tabletop simulations and group activities to develop hazmat operators knowledge, skills, and abilities to develop strategies and tactics and implement them across a range of several hazardous materials incidents.

The development of strategic and tactical plans at the field and EOC levels will be discussed as well as using technology to communicate these plans at all levels of an operation.
